SIRS® Benchmark Survey Basic Report Package
Participation in the SIRS® Benchmark Survey includes a comprehensive Basic Report Package—in paper copy or PDF—that includes the following:
Benchmark Report
Reports all cash compensation elements and stock option eligibility for each SIRS® benchmark, level, and modifier for each job category for which you provide data (nonsupervisory exempt, supervisory, and nonexempt). You may customize your market mix based on one or more of the following criteria:
- Mix of individual companies that you select by name
- Pre-set SIRS® Geographical Area
- Custom SIRS® Geographical Area by ZIP code designation
Level Analysis
For each job category, compares your company’s pay and population distribution to your market mix by SIRS® job level and modifier. Level analysis can be used to:
- View a broader picture of competitive position on a level basis, rather than by individual benchmark—both dollars and percent difference from market are reported for salary, midpoint/control point, and total cash
- Analyze distribution of employee populations by job levels
- Analyze and compare the effect of different staffing patterns on total cash compensation costs
- Compare and analyze compensation costs by category
- Develop salary structures and broadbands
