SIRS® Global Survey, Europe/Middle East/Africa (EMEA)
The SIRS® Global Survey, EMEA integrates with the SIRS® Benchmark Survey, allowing for comparison across business units and countries. In 2007, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom were represented in the survey. The survey continues to expand and in 2008 will collect data from Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
Key Features
This survey collects total compensation data, including base salary, incentives, and stock options, for 35 executive and 85 non-executive survey jobs in 15 job families from life sciences companies. Other survey features include the following.
- SIRS® Benchmark Survey job codes and job matching allow participants to use SIRS® global job evaluation methods to ensure a consistent architecture of jobs across countries and around the world.
- Custom reports allow participants to select their peer groups (for an additional charge)
- Electronic input and output is available for summarized, all country reports
- Training and client support provided by ORC staff located in France, Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United States
- Survey benchmark manual that includes job descriptions and leveling charts
- EMEA Life Sciences Advisory Committee aids survey development and progress by ensuring benchmarks and data elements are pertinent to the industry
- Company privacy protected through the use of data suppression rules
- Data validation conducted by ORC staff using the same intense scrutiny that ensures quality data in all SIRS® surveys
