SIRS® Benchmark Survey Geographic Areas
In addition to industry and company size, geographic location has significant influence on market pay for different categories of jobs. To help you obtain the most meaningful comparisons for your various labor markets, your benchmark reports (nonsupervisory, supervisory, or nonexempt) can be customized according to:
- Nationwide data with a selected mix of companies,
- One of the SIRS® pre-set Geographic Areas or Super Areas (see map), or
- A custom set of ZIP codes you designate.*
* Availability may be restricted based on the type of data participants provide.
Super Areas
Regional and local market data are provided for six pre-set Super Areas in the United States (California, Midwest, Northeast, Northwest, South, Southwest).
Geographical Areas
In addition, there are more than 40 pre-set Geographical Areas, which have reasonably good populations of data from which reports can be ordered.
