Legal and Regulatory Change Seminar Series 2009

Get Ready for Change!

Barack Obama promised “Change you can believe in,” and you’d better believe that change is coming with the new administration. Even before the inauguration, the previous Congress and administration had issued new laws and regulations that became effective this year, and the next two years are likely to bring even more.

ORC’s Legal and Regulatory Change Seminar Series 2009 can prepare your organization to meet the challenges of changing employment laws and regulations. Each two-hour session can be presented on your site or via webcast to your employees and managers responsible for creating and implementing HR policies and practices that comply with federal law. Choose to present one, two, three, or all four of the seminars, scheduled for your convenience.

What Employers Need to Know for 2009

The new administration has clearly signaled that change can be expected in the legislative and regulatory framework we operate in. In this two-hour briefing for human resources and business professionals, we’ll give you an advance look at what employers can expect from the Obama administration and the Democratic Congress. We’ll review the employment and labor laws that are likely to be passed in 2009 and 2010 and the changes we should expect in OFCCP and EEOC enforcement strategies, and we’ll discuss what employers should do to prepare.
