Senior Leader Impact on Diversity: What Really Works?

How many times have you heard it said that diversity success is predicated on “top management commitment”?

ORC is conducting research that will, for the first time, help diversity leaders understand the true impact of senior-level commitment on success and sustainability of diversity change initiatives. The study will explore the relationship between CEO behaviors, organizational processes, and measures of diversity success.

What does it cost?

Participation is free.

What is the benefit of participating?

As a participant, you will get a full report of findings that will help you design powerful diversity strategies and forge stronger partnerships with your organization’s senior teams. You will also receive benchmarking information showing how your company stacks up against the rest of the survey sample on a variety of key measures of diversity performance.

Who should participate?

The survey is targeted toward midsize to large companies or wholly-owned subsidiaries.

How does the
study work?

A senior member of your diversity team, who is familiar with your CEO and his/her direct reports, would complete a 30 question online survey. Most of the questions can be answered quickly. A few responses may require data drawn from your HRIS, annual report, or other sources. This data is critical to pinpointing which practices and behaviors actually impact the success of diversity initiatives. All information submitted will be kept confidential.

What is the timeline?

The survey will close on May 15. The final report will be issued in June.
