Human Resources Solutions Network

A network for human resource leaders of a corporate division or strategic business unit who are responsible for programs to improve business results

Division or strategic business unit heads of HR in organizations on the operational firing line are coping with the turbulence in business today. They get together in this network with the freedom to discuss issues they face, how they are responding—and to find out what others in similar situations are doing to solve problems and enhance business results.

This group spans the responsibilities of operations leaders across all functional areas to allow for useful groupwide exchanges of experience and ideas. Through triannual meetings and informal between-meeting contacts, group members offer each other information, ideas, and shared experience relevant to current policies, programs, and activities across the range of HR responsibilities. Between meetings, ORC supports the group with mini-surveys and web-based interchanges on items requested by members, along with policy guidance and recommendations.

The meeting agendas are tailored to members' current interests and needs, with topics ranging from recruitment and retention of key employees to organizational effectiveness; from compensation practices to performance management; from staffing to regulatory compliance.
